I like this quote…I always believe that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. I go by that and all else falls into place.

I’ve heard that it decreases the likelihood of getting sick from viruses and so on too. Optimism is good for the immune sustem and vital to happiness

Sometimes, musicians say things better than I ever could.

If you don’t know the song “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds, I highly recommend listening to it. The lyrics begin:

I don’t get many things right the first time
In fact, I am told that a lot
Now I know all the wrong turns, the stumbles and falls
Brought me here

And, before Ben Folds, Robert Frost was pondering which of two roads that diverged in a yellow wood he should take.

Sure, there are always those questions about what I could have done differently. I could have taken IT classes. I could have moved South.

But the choices that I did make led me here… and here is a good enough place.
