I keep seeing these various stories, some of which I’ve linked to from here in the past, about the latest happiness index or some measure of happiness.
Can happiness really be measured?
Happiness is something you feel inside. How can we possibly put a number on a feeling?
Instead of trying to measure happiness, let’s just work on feeling our happiness each and every day.
Whatever you do, don’t judge your happiness based on a number or based on whether someone else might have more happiness than you.
There’s plenty of happiness to go around; there will never be a shortage. There’s an unlimited supply — use all you want.
Don’t measure it, just feel it.
To your happiness!
